vertically aligning text in a button

Hello,

I'm having issues vertically aligning text on a button on this site: Carley Bakker Online Reputation Management Speaker & Trainer

The slider works fine ( I didn't make any changes to those buttons). But down the page I change the size of the buttons using css. Now the text appears at the bottom of the button. I've tried the vertical-align, but that didn't work. Any ideas?
