how combine schema.org and Resource Description Framework in attributes ?

I have leaed it's possible to combine RDFa and schema.org. After read this article Basic Vocabulary for schema.org and Structured Data I recognize I understand nothing.

Someone can enlighted me about what means combine RDFa and schema.org ?
And did is this combination correspond effectively to RDFS ?
