Can someone help me with making my website look good on different web sized ?

My name is Robert, and I recently made a little website so I can get into coding and I realised that on other screen resolutions it looks bad, very bad. And I really couldn't understand anything from a site that i usually look if I don't know something and I was looking for a forum so someone could help me understand how to resolve that problem.
