how to show a paragraph in a single scrolling text line in html5?

<marquee> tag was used to scroll text but using css and html5 how I can move a long text in a single line without breaking it into multiple line?

I mean all text will move as a single line from left to right or right to left, I think <marquee> is not supported in html5, so how I can do that now? in css overflow:hidden properties for scrolling text makes some text hidden in case of smaller device screen.

I am new to this and searching google for a long time but not get the solution. please help.
